wow-party

I play AzerothCore with my own party of playerbots. Playing solo-with-bots, you lose track fast: who still has which quest open, who is under-geared, who is standing in the wrong zone. In-game you only see that with effort.

So I built myself a live dashboard for the browser. It shows the whole bot party, always relative to my active character ("You"), so differences in quests, gear, level and zone jump out immediately. From there I can also send the bots commands.

Under the hood it hangs off Redis. The server-side module mod-party-bridge writes a JSON snapshot of the group to Redis roughly once a second, a Node backend reads it and pushes it into the browser over Socket.IO. Commands travel the reverse path back. The contract between module, server and browser lives as PROTOCOL.md in the repo, with the TypeScript types right next to it.
